  This is even better than a V8 because it’s fresh & alive! Unladened with preservatives, pesticides, herbicides, larvicides, fungicides (which all equal suicide), unprocessed & unpasteurized, whole organic fresh & alive fruits & vegetables!

   Just put everything in a blender, add some water and blend until smooth, then enjoy from your favorite large cup! You can vary the ingredients and mix and match – get inventive – there are lot’s of interesting variations & possibilities! For soup, just add less water, and you can warm it as long as it doesn’t get so hot that you can’t hold your finger in it. This will also hold a person’s appitite for a surprizing length of time! Try it – you’ll be hooked!

Salad Ingredients:

Dressing:

  Dissolve the honey in the lemon juice. Add remaining ingredients. Pour over salad and toss. Enjoy!

  For those on a Diabetic or Cancer (low glycemic) Diet, replace the Agave, honey or maple syrup with 5 – 10 drops of Stevia.  Since this recipe also has sugars in the carrot, raisins and apple it is not ideal for the initial stages of healing Diabetes, Cancer, or Candita.  However you could replace these ingredients as well.

  Flax Crackers are super easy & there is no real rules – anything goes! – Well almost! – here are my starter suggestions;

  Let sit for 20 mins to 2+ hrs (till congealed) You can add some extra ground (use a coffee grinder) flax to create a firmer texture.

  You can add chopped sundrided tomatoes, parsley, spices etc. – Use your imagination!

  Spread your mix out on dehydrator ‘teflex’ sheets. Dehydrate at 105 deg F (40.5 deg C) for 8 – 10 hours or however long it takes till they are crisp.

  Try them with Guacamoli or seed cheese or your favorite spread, pate or dip.

Ingredients:

Crust

  Combine Quiche Ingredients together in a food processor except diced onions & process untill smooth. Put in a large bowl & mix in diced onions, then put aside. Combine all Crust ingredients in a food processor and pulse until almost smooth but still a little chuncky. Form crust onto dehydrator sheet (dehydrating is optional) into a round 1/8 inch crust. Form Quiche layer (in large bowl) into a ball & start to form it into a disc, to lay onto of the crust, then form into shape. Put in dehydrator at 105 deg F (40.5 deg C) for an hour or up untill overnight. The Quiche layer can also double as a scrambled eggs recipe if you leave the texture a little more chuncky.

Blueberry Un-Cheese Cake

2 Comments »

55E3F066-1C93-4502-A300-198803DCCFB0.jpg

Un-cheese filling: In the food processer;

  Process cashews, agave & lemon juice until smooth. Mix in enough psyllium husk to firm it up to cheese cake consistency. Keep in mind that psyllium husk is a “hydrophilic” and “loves water” so it is a fibre that soaks up water. The longer it sits the more it firms up so be careful to to add too much too soon. Once it’s mixed in and at a consistency you like, put it aside.

To make the crust, you will need;

  Take all of the soaked almonds, rinse them and pat them dry. Put almonds in food processor (using the ‘S’ blade) with 1 cup pecans. Chop until just before it starts to turn to a butter and get sticky.

  Add 1 cup dates, and chop, till the oils start to come out of the almonds and mix with the dates.

  Then add the 2 Tbs fresh orange juice and it clumps into a ball then take it out and form into ball. Push evenly into bottom of pie plate to form the crust.

  Now take your “un-cheese” filling and put it on top, smoothing it in evenly and then add sliced fruit or make a quick fruit sauce by blending a bit more agave with the fruit of your choosing. You can also add some spice to give it an extra kick; cinnamon, nutmeg and cardamom are great some options.
